Fort Lee

Richmond Primoid was awarded a contract for extensive concrete restoration at Fort Lee in Petersburg, Virginia. Wayne Rhodes supervised the work that included structural concrete repairs to elevated walkways and stairwells around five buildings. Some of the complex repairs included demolition and reconstruction of cantilevered slabs, lap splicing new rebar and epoxy injection to stabilize cracking slabs. Galvanic anodes and rust inhibitors were used to prevent future deterioration and a Sika non-skid epoxy coating was applied to seal the surface.
