UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA SCOTT STADIUM
Richmond Primoid performed waterproofing, concrete repairs and replaced expansion joints at the University of Virginia Scott Stadium
Richmond Primoid was awarded phase III of the waterproofing project to Scott Stadium. Foreman Jerry Fogleman coordinated the removal of all the seats in the newest addition, removal and replacement of expansion joints, caulking joints, concrete repair and the installation of Neogard Pedagard to approximately 150,000 square feet of seating and concourse areas. The completion of the expansion joint replacement is continued into 2009, but the area over the offices and locker rooms is now waterproof.

An interesting statistic: one inch of rain = 27,000 gallons per acre. An acre is 43,500 square feet. The new stadium is approximately 150,000 square feet, so 92,000 gallons of water flows across that part of the stadium in every inch of rain.
