HISTORIC RESTORATION | BUILDING RESTORATION

Historic restoration to restore an old building is one of our main areas of expertise within the specialized field of building restoration. As leaders in old building restoration, Richmond Primoid has had the pleasure of being involved in the historic restoration of many of the older buildings in Virginia. We take great pride in our restoration portfolio, which only further emphasizes our strong commitment and deep loyalty to the State in which we operate and are headquartered.

The first English colony of the New World, Virginia has a long and proud history that dates back to 1607. With numerous old structures that splendidly recount the history of this great state, we understand that each restoration project is not only a huge honor, but also a mighty responsibility. If is for this reason that we undertake restorations with the utmost of care, using the very best materials in terms of quality and durability, not to mention a highly qualified team with unmatched experience and training.

Most recently, we conducted terra cotta repair and replacement on the Richmond Center Stage project, Richmond Dairy, Edgeworth and American Tobacco Buildings, The Dooley Mansion, among others in the Richmond area. We also carried out the restoration of the Paramount Theater in neighboring Charlottesville. These projects have included non abrasive surface cleaning, pointing and masonry repair. To ensure the highest quality products are always being used, all pointing and repair materials have been supplied by specialty manufacturers, like Virginia Lime Works, Cathedral Stone and Conproco.

History always has a story to tell, and we want our exceptional historic restoration and old building restoration projects to speak for themselves. We know what it takes to properly restore an old building to achieve a topnotch building restoration, and we aim to never fall below our high standards of excellence.
