CRACK INJECTIONS/HYDROPHOBIC URETHANE

As stated in the Interior Below Grade Waterproofing page, fractures within a structure’s foundation can begin to occur within as little as a year after construction. However, such wall cracks can be easily sealed using crack injections, usually hydrophobic urethane injections. With the use of urethane crack injections, these fissures are coated so that the masonry, concrete or brickwork is better able to withstand water pressure that could deepen the splinters within the foundation, weakening it considerably.

There are many uses of crack injections, including the repairs of concrete, masonry and brickwork . However, they have also proved successful when used to remedy water seepage into cracks within a foundation wall. It should be noted that for the best waterproofing results, crack injections should be used in conjunction with other waterproofing methods discussed in the Interior Below Grade Waterproofing page. Different crack injection materials are used for the purposes of waterproofing than in cases when it is used for crack repairs. At Richmond Primoid, we use only the most effective substances for the best results. As such, we provide hydrophobic urethane injections to seal up cracks in foundation walls, to prevent water pressure from expanding fissures into major fault points that could cause serious structural damage.

The application of urethane crack injections for waterproofing purposes is relatively hassle-free and cost effective. Our hydrophobic urethane injections are of the highest quality to provide you with topnotch results. When enlisting the professional services of Richmond Primoid, you can rest assured that you are receiving the very best in crack injections
